The Aji Peruvian or Mini Peruvian, which comes from Peru, is a chilli variety that has so far not been widely used in Europe.

The aroma of the Aji Peruvian (Mini Peruvian) is mild at the beginning, but becomes significantly sharper when you eat it. We recommend using them fresh and cut into small pieces in warm dishes or as powder. When it comes to dosing, it is important to start with small amounts, you can always add seasoning. When cutting the fresh chillies, it is essential to wear gloves and never touch your face with your hands!

The Aji Peruvian (Mini Peruvian) is particularly recommended as an addition to salads, but it can also be used to flavour sauces and other dishes.
